The Nelson Waldorf School

This weekend I had a wonderful opportunity to visit the Nelson Waldorf School in British Columbia, Canada. I was blown away by the campus. Their grounds and buildings are just beautiful. My camera and I were just snapping away.

My intention for going was to hear Kim John Payne speak about parenting and it was a truly wonderful talk. I’ll do a more thorough post on his talk another time. But for now, I thought I’d share my photos of the school.

The entrance to the main building.

Fifth grade paintings posted in the main building.

Such a unique architectural piece in the outdoor space.

All of the wood trim in the building gives that little extra finishing touch.

Posters with every student's picture are posted in the faculty room. Every teacher learns every child's name.

Every room has their school Code of Compassion posted.

All of the grades have these sweet hand-carved signs outside the door.

I love these geometric chairs!

I love the wood trim on the windows in grade one.

A beautiful, dedicated space for eurythmy

The sweet nature table in the preschool.

The early childhood cob building allows for unique spaces.

The beautiful bridge to the offices in the early childhood building.
