Here’s what’s inside the course

Three core modules organized around the In Season structure:

  • A person writing in a notebook at a wooden table with a cup of coffee, a smartphone, and other notebooks.

    The Grounded Teacher

    Vision, Rhythm, Alignment
Root your teaching in clarity and intention. In this section, you’ll reflect on your personal rhythms, clarify your vision for the year ahead, and map out curriculum goals that support both your students and your well-being. You’ll finish with a flexible plan that aligns your teaching with the life you’re actually living.

  • A hand holding soil with a small green sapling and leaves against a blurred outdoor background.

    The Growing Children

    Development, Curriculum, Blocks
Deepen your understanding of your students and what they need most. This section invites you to study child development, explore your upcoming curriculum, and shape meaningful block plans that meet your class where they are—developmentally, academically, and soulfully.

  • String of white paper hearts hanging on a red and white twisted string against a black background.

    The Connected Families

    Communication, Community, Culture
Build strong, intentional relationships with the families in your care. In this section, you’ll craft welcome letters, prepare for fall parent meetings, and design a thoughtful orientation experience—laying the groundwork for a connected, collaborative classroom community.

Each In Season course follows the same structure—so you’re always grounded in what matters most:
the teacher, the children, and the families.

I know how much you're holding this summer—dreaming about the year ahead, trying to find your rhythm, and balancing the need to rest with the desire to plan. In Season: Summer Vision isn’t just another task on your list. It’s a space to reflect, clarify what matters most, and enter the new school year with confidence and purpose. This course is a tool for simplifying, not complicating—and it’s designed to support you, not overwhelm you.
