Monday Art

Monday afternoons I paint with my class. This week we painted two different types of flowers -- the lily and the rose. We'll be going into our botany block when we return from the Olympiad next week. I'll bring them the picture of the monocotyledon and dicotyledon through the story of the lily and the rose.After painting such challenging things, this was quite satisfying. And what could be more beautiful than a painting of flowers?!
