I’m having a nice little trip down memory lane pulling my 8th grade materials together. I can’t believe it was just a little more than a year ago that I started 8th grade with those big kids. My how things change!
This Short Story block was one of those blocks I had been looking forward to for years! I majored in literature, so exploring and deconstructing stories is one of my favorite things to do!
Unfortunately, I didn’t get to enjoy as much of it as I would have liked because I got sick the second week. This means that my lesson notes were not as rich as they usually are, and I couldn’t recall a lot of my own experience, since my sub covered a good portion of the block.
