Grade 4 Human & Animal # 1
Oh, my students were so excited about this block. There’s nothing 9- and 10-year-olds love more than animals! We had fun exploring the different types of animals and learning a little more about the human being along the way.
We were learning entirely online for this block, though I didn’t find that this format interfered with our typical main lesson rhythm. If we had been in person we might have been able to take up more projects or perform our poems for friends and family, but we worked through the content and felt just as immersed in the material as ever.
Here’s what you’ll find in this curriculum guide.
Primary content resources
Background thoughts about WHY you teach the block
An overview of HOW to teach the block
A day-to-day content outline
Daily review suggestions
Photos of sample main lesson book pages
Some of the warm-up content I used during this block
All of this material is delivered through a DIGITAL FILE that you will download after purchasing. You will also receive a download link in your email inbox after the purchase is completed.
Note: This guide is around 100 pages of information with lots of images and links. It is best used in the digital format, rather than a print-and-go resource.
